Looking for a career step? Permanent Assistant Team Manager – Children with Disabilities – up to £50.6K

Urgent role - There comes a point in everyone’s career where they look to go that extra step and seek out a way to fulfil their potential within their place of work – within social work this can be in a variety of ways, be in supporting junior social workers or moving into the operational side of children’s services.

Achieving for Children (Windsor and Maidenhead) are looking for a permanent ATM to join their team. You will be managing 2 part time and 3 full time social workers and work closely with the manager to bounce ideas off and find the best ways to accommodate the service users. The service works alongside  SEND and closely with the adult framework, giving a great opportunity to give a multi agency approach to families and children when providing packages.

The local authority has received a large influx of funding, giving great opportunities for career development due to inhouse training programmes, and freeing up time for managers to properly oversee and supervise their social workers; they are even one of the Department for Educations 8 ‘Partners in Practice’  tasked with leading improvement across the social care sector.
