Over the last weeks I have personally heard many rumours and hear-say that local authorities have stopped recruiting. I would like to comfortably set aside these rumours and confirm that more than ever, social workers are in great demand during this trying time.
Frontline are currently recruiting for a children with disabilities safeguarding social worker to join a team in the south coast. The council is well set up for remote working, having had a stable and well supported team before the pandemic struck. This of course means that you will be joining a team with all the correct capabilities to provide remote working, whilst also helping you fully understand your cases as you join the team.
The authority is looking to recruit, not just due to shortages in current team, but will be looking to bring someone on for a long term contract where you can truly become part of the team, even as a locum – something we strive to do with all our roles at Frontline, to give you peace of mind entering any contract. You will be required to have experience in children’s safeguarding, with additional experience working alongside those with disabilities delivering packages of care.
If you are interested and have safeguarding experience within a children with disabilities team please send your Cv to firstname.lastname@example.org, or call on 07835520642 for more details.
If you do know someone who is looking for a role like this, or any role within children’s services we offer a £500 referral bonus for anyone you recommend over!
