Job description

Apply for this job

A local authority in the North-West is recruiting several CSE Social workers for multiple localities across Lancashire. We have agreed increased rates for these roles due to the importance and current salience of CSE across parts of the UK. The local authority concerned are determined to invest in Qualified Social Workers with excellent references to properly address Child Sexual Exploitation cases within the area.

CSE Social Workers can expect to handle cases related to sexual exploitation, human trafficking, radicalisation and missing children. You will be responsible for performing assessments and using your experience to recognise and address forms of child exploitation by liaising with external agencies to form care-action plans, and ensuring some of the most vulnerable children in the country receive adequate attention and protection.

This is an opportunity to develop and utilise specialist skills within the social care arena as CSE opportunities are not widely available and any experience in this field would be highly advantageous to determined and ambitious Social Workers. Ideal candidates will have experience of working on CSE cases, although direct experience in a CSE team is advantageous it is not obligatory.

If you are passionate about protecting vulnerable children and want to chance to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment alongside other determined professionals than this role will be of interest to you.
