A local authority commutable form the West-Midlands is currently seeking a Children’s Social Worker to join their Children’s Locality Team. Offering a compressed 4 day working week with working from home options available, this council also provides a mobile phone and laptop to all their Social Workers to ensure that you can truly adhere to a flexible working rota.

The successful Children’s Social Worker will have experience of:

  • Working with children on Child Protection Plans, Looked after Children and Children in Need
  • Child protection Care proceedings
  • Court Reports
  • Working with the new Public Law Outline (PLO)
  • Section 47s
  • Core Assessments
  • Risk assessment
  • Duty experience
  • Child protection meetings
  • Planned meetings
  • Case management
  • LAC Reviews
  • Conducting reviews
  • Attending LAC Reviews

As a Children’s Social Worker, you will be:      

  • HCPC registered
  • Eligible to work in the UK 
  • Car Driver Essential
