Team Manager - Children with Disabilities ( CWD ) - Outside IR35 - £38-£43.50p/h  
An experienced Team Manager is required to join Children with Disabilities ( CWD ) Team in a local authority operating outside IR35. You must have solid safeguarding, child protection experience, and disabilities experience is essential. You will not need to have managed a disabilities team before, but you will need solid management experience with excellent references. As a disabilities manager you must be flexible and able to work under pressure, and manage your team and services effectively and efficiently

The Team Manager will have experience of/show:

  • Liaising with other professionals
  • Experience of disabilities working
  • Thorough knowledge of relevant legislation
  • Management experience in busy local authorities
  • Effective and efficient distribution of work between the individuals in the team in line with agreed policy and practice
  • Responsibility for budgets applicable; and exercising strong budgetary control through managers, where appropriate, and contributing to the annual planning cycle.
  • Knowledge of disability services for children

  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
As a CWD Social Worker, you MUST be:
  • HCPC registered 
  • Eligible to work in the UK 
  • A full UK license holder
